DM Group Associates, Inc. dba Save-More Finer Foods will be primarily focused on the stabilization
of a retail and commercial base in the heart of Robbins, IL. It is with pleasure that we have taken a
proactive approach in conjunction with mayor Tyrone Ward and the Village of Robbins board of
trustees to bring this much needed development to the community along with solving the problem of
not having a commercial retail “destination” place that keeps its citizens dollars circulating within as
well attracting others passersby. Not only will this development solve the food desert issue that exist
within many south suburban Illinois communities but it will also allow for a safe, affordable,
convenient, and modern “Green” retail environment.
As you know in 2010 Cook County had awarded via (NSP guidelines, an award of $615, 129.00) as
well as being awarded $150,000 from ComEd’s Smart Ideas new construction program along with
$40,000 from Nicor Gas and their new construction program. For this project, going green will be
another important marketing tool as well as energy savings mechanism.
