My partner and myself have awakened and untouched gem in Las Vegas. We are two college-educated, African-Americam women who are very in tuned with the needs of our community as a whole. Through Las Vegas, there are hundreds of clubs,lounges and bars, stretching from the Strip to the new found lands of Las Vegas and Henderson. Each of these nightclubs consider themselves to be number one,but they target the exact same audience. Out of all of these clubs there is only ONE hip-hop club and it is located on the Strip which is targeted towards tourists. Its seems almost unbelievable that a music culture that has affected almost every race like no other is almost none existent in Las Vegas.
This realization only prompted and ample response from my partner and myself; there is a desperate need for a true hip/hop lounge in Las Vegas, specifically for locals and a place that tourists will definitely want to come back (URL removed)s lounge will serve as a meeting spot, performance arena, and of course the nightlife would be the highlight.
