Description:
We will develop a camp for children with autism/Aspberger's Syndrome, in combination with developing a warehouse distribution center that will benefit other non-profits and will then support the camp. We will have Equine Therapy (horse therapy), indoor activities building for physical, speech and occupational therapy. The kids will have so much fun they will not know it's therapy. The local university will send graduating students to work with the children along with our regular staff as their interships. We will use alternate energy sources such as solar and wind power. The camp is 260 acres and we will have global tracking devices for everyone in the event someone is lost. All facilities will be ADA approved. We will have asphalt trails in some areas for those in a wheel chair. The main activities building will have an arcade, bowling alley, basketball, computer lab, tube system for play (ie: like Burger King or McDonald's), and more. The camp will be used year-round by different groups of disabled children or adults, family reunions, school groups (ie: basketball camp), corporations/businesses for training or relaxation, etc. . We will have an outdoor full sized basketball court, soccer field, indoor recreation building, safe room, trails and more.
