Description:
I am looking to begin a herd of highly respected, top-notch registered Jersey dairy cows. The primary focus of Silver Creek Jerseys (SCJ) would be in selling high-demand genetics globally.
I was raised on a registered Holstein farm, and have a long-standing background in raising registered cattle. I got into Jerseys about 15 years ago, and have found my true passion. I have the background, desire, drive and determination to make Silver Creek Jerseys a name synonomous with Jersey genetics that everyone wants.
After several years of working in public education, I've made the decision to follow my heart and begin to live my childhood dream of obtaining a heard of this caliber.
I am looking for an investor to help with start-up costs, such as facility, and foundation cattle. I do have several heifers that I am very excited about calving out, as well as the eye to find "the good ones".
