Glamour Girl Locs is seeking to be one of the largest importers of hair used for extensions and braiding. Glamour Girl Locs will operate in two stages. The initial stage will operate at a home based business to reduce overhead and conduct sales through the website.
To be successful, the key is to have moderate to large size supply on hand for immediate delivery. I will need to purchase a large amount of Indian, Malaysian and Brazilian hair in multiple lengths and textures. Additionally, through my years of research and also being a consumer of the hair product, I have developed an aggressive marketing and distribution strategy, attractive packaging and competitive pricing. Clients as well as salons and stylist will be able to purchase extension hair at an affordable price and have it shipped to them overnight. Also, salons in the Chicago land area can have access to have their orders personally delivered to them.
The business will continue to operate in the second phase, however Glamour Girl Locs will move into a retail boutique location with a master extension stylist. Patrons will have the option to have their extensions installed directly on site, thus providing an additional stream of revenue.
