Conceptual: TymeTyme LLC is the developer of a web 2.0 application built on the premise of creating a lifelong (auto)biography based upon the social media experience. The application’s potential is built upon the premise of capturing two widely used existing behaviors.
1. People are crazy about Social Media. Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn are becoming part of the everyday experience of hundreds of millions of people worldwide. Crossing Geography and virtually all demographics, people want to share their thoughts, feelings, media, and ideas with the world.
2. The collection of photo’s, home videos, transcripts, journals, blogs, personal achievements, and other important information is generally disorganized. A combination of paper and various media being kept in boxes or on disparate software programs (if at all) is the current best practice for keeping tabs of our biographical information. TymeTyme brings these two trends/behaviors together to provide its users a meaningful way to keep and store significant (or not) events in their lives, share them with the world via integrated social media, and create a byproduct that chronicle’s their entire life experience.
Technical: The user experience will be driven by an elegant yet simple User interface (UI) and will be built using Ruby on Rails (RoR) and other leading web technologies. The web based application will serve as a place for the user to capture their life experience from birth through all phases of life. An environment for capturing, documenting, and recording all of life’s adventures and achievements coupled with full bidirectional integration with the most popular Web applications (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn) will make TymeTyme the web’s most compelling destination for capturing the entire experience of life online.
