The Infinite Learning Group will offer online courses in all subjects and levels to students from ages nine through adulthood. The courses ILG offer will benefit students of all ages and academic necessity, from credit retrieval for graduation to basic skills intervention. The Infinite Learning Group will also offer English language courses and lab opportunities for international students, as well as, learners who want to master the English language. Language courses and lab opportunities for languages other than English are available per request of student(s). Individual, small group and large group courses in all subjects will be offered throughout the year in order to accommodate students’ and families schedules. All instruction is “differentiated” and taught by state certified instructors who hold certifications as “masters” in their field of study and instruction.
The Infinite Learning Group will market services to all learners throughout the state of Washington. Our goal is to open centers in outlying counties who will rely on ILG and our educational and personal services. LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, & Transgender) students will be our main population to serve, including, incarcerated and paroled men, women, and children who deserve a second chance and opportunity to master basic skills education, attain a GED (General Equivalency Diploma), and apply to community college or the university of their choice.
The Infinite Learning Group is NOT a tutoring center! Our goal is to become an Alternative Charter School. Everyone deserves to learn in an environment that is safe, satisfying, and reliable. Due to the many problems and issues in public school today, we want students of all ages to have an alternative resource to choose from. Accreditation and certification will be another major focus for ILG in order to impress on everyone our seriousness, effectiveness, and determination to be the best alternative educational program on Washington State. Ultimately, my vision is to create a LGBTQ High School for middle and high school students. Daycare will also be made available for our students and their children.
It is an unfortunate fact that many LGBTQ students are homeless. The Infinite Learning Group will also accommodate those students who are homeless and have no place to go. Our learning center will not only serve our students academically, but personally as well. Studies have shown that students excel and succeed when they have a stable and supportive system to accommodate their needs.
