I am both a singer/songwriter as well as a nonfiction author. I have been performing and writing for over 20 years now and won Selected Artist in 2006 from VH1's Song of the Year. Currently I am in contact with Steve Smith of Aware Records and working with Steve Gordon (leading entertainment lawyer) as well as other prospective leads in music. In writing I have recieved rave reviews from the NY firm Collins and McCormick and currently considering a position on the Charlotte Observer under Taylor Batten in the editorial dept. I have documentation of everything over the years publications, awards, critiques, ect. The past week has began to move rather fast and it seems as though timing has finally found me. To retain Steve Gordon is $1500 for the first five hours and I must get to NY to meet with Steve Smith and Steve Gordon immediately or this opportunity will pass. All of my work is beyond positive and focused, as I am a teacher and do vast amounts of pro bono work in underprivelidged communities. I have simply worked to damn hard to watch this slip away simply because of a few thousand dollars I lack the means to attain. Time is certainly of the essense.
