I am in the specialized business of Equine therapy. I provide rehab therapy for sport and performance horses.
I am in the unique position of cornering the market in Colorado and surrounding states. Currently horses are diagnosed and then shipped to Texas or California for rehab. The travel alone often causes additional stress and possible injury. Also, equine veterinarians find it difficult to maintain a record of therapy for the animal once it has left the state.
My facility will offer the same rehab services as the very prominent organizations in FL, TX and CA. I have established relationships with top sport/performance veterinarians in the state as well as world renowned Equine Podiatrist Dr. Ric Redden (works with Kentucky Derby horses) as business associates. These performance horse veterinarians will be admitting the patients into my clinic and prescribing the treatment regiment. I have also established contacts with Altitude Arabians (race track and endurance Arabians) and the Denver Rodeo.
There could be the potential to open a second facility near the Denver area at some point.
I have purchased property ($235K) and invested another $250K of my own money in the project. I am looking for funding to complete the facility and purchase additional equipment.
I have been doing this for several years in Texas and recently moved to Colorado to expand and tap into this virgin market and opportunity.
