We are already operating successfully in Palm Beach and are looking for some capitol to expand fully into Miami. Our pedicab operations have a strong base and great profitability. There are currently 13 of 25 licenses available in our zone. We own 2 licenses in our zone and would like to purchase the remaining 12 so that we will own a majority. We currently have one competitor however he is logging multiple code enforcement and other violations everyday and is in grave danger of losing the 11 licenses he owns. We would like to be in a position to snap up those licenses if they become available. The bulk of the capitol we are seeking is to secure a space to store our equipment and pedicabs. We have been researching and speaking with many Realtors. We have concluded that our monthly costs will be $3200 which will include Insurance(business/building), Utilities, Fleet Maintenance. We do not pay our employees, Our business model is such that we lease each pedicab out on a weekly/monthly basis. We also provide for advertising space of about 10sqft. We are also implementing a radio advertising option in that our advertiser will be able to provide us an audio ad that will play over the pedicabs sound system. This is a proven business model that works in all major cities across the us and around the world. We are looking for someone who can help us make it happen in Miami.
