My husband and I are opening a Straw Hat Pizza (a proven franchise) restaurant in the city of Orange, Ca. We have purchased an existing pizza place for a fabulous price. It is in close proximity to two professional sporting venues and even closer proximity to two major medical centers. It is located on a busy street not far from the heart of Old Towne Orange. The current pizza restaurant is profitable every month. We feel after renovating the restaurant and agressively marketing to the community, the revenue each month will greatly increase.
We anticipate a total project cost of $197,000. Our plan was to get an SBA loan, but with the turmoil of the stock market, things are not moving quickly enough for us right now. We have our 22% of the total project cost but are looking for approximately $150,000 to fund renovations and beginning operational expenses. Depending on how quickly funding comes in, we anticipate opening as Straw Hat by the end of October.
