I have started a small baking business that has terrific potential to grow into business that offers something truly unique to the local palette. My recipes are my own and my ethic has proven quite successful with test marketing and at local farmers' markets. My goods are more flavorful that sweet and this concept has resonated with those who have had the opportunity to indulge, as they are not the typical sugar, air, and grease concoctions that are so prolific in bakeries and supermarkets. I am licensed and insured, however after my official launch the owner of the kitchen I was leasing decided to no longer lease his kitchen space. This was essentially the end of my business, as finding another cost-effective baking space has been a challenge. I am seeking a modest investment/loan of $5000 to bring my baking business to where is should be so I may bring it to where I want it to be. With the Summer weather here I am anxious to take advantage of the exposure I will gain from attending outdoor, community oriented events.
