Upon creating the profile, the account user can send out family the opportunity to stay in touch, receive progress updates, and check on their loved one’s condition. Then they will build what will eventually become a memorial page that will remain a place of support through the grieving process. Through these profiles, the profiled will be able to update their loved ones on his or her condition as well as stay in touch with people that might not be local. The profiled user will have the ability to put display images, change health status, write in a blog, send out private messages as well as health status update blasts to everyone in his or her network. Loved ones will have the ability to leave comments, post pictures and videos, send private messages and continue using the site if and when it transforms into a memorial. We believe that this will help with the grieving process. The site will combine a visually-appealing design and user-friendly content layout to encourage regular use of the website by its network. To enable simple and cost-effective updating, the website will be equipped with a content-management system and administrator account.
