The Exchange is designed around a vision to pivotally reconstruct the way social media connects us to the ever progressing world we live in. As we are constantly bound by restriction, we strive to realize the full potential of virtual interaction and connectivity — to stimulate a new age of technology, communication, and collaboration — accessible to all — in one centralized location.
Our desires lead us towards a technology that is capable of marrying the virtual reality of social media to our physical habitats. We are interested in using computer vision to make natural environments digitally interactive. Meaning that anything in the visual world could become an interactive object (superimposing a layer of information, footage, etc onto that item). This would require object recognition and other elements of digital sight and location pinpointing to identify key environments and known objects. Once this is achieved we would like to integrate this into our network of data clusters to create unique experiences for our users.
