Description:
What I want is to start a Bay Area theater company in Walnut Creek, which would be located at the Walnut Creek Coffee Co. for at least our first two years of performing. Our first three productions will first political, then social and finally theological. We wll produce this Spring, “Nothing But Bones” a play I wrote that tackles the issues of poverty and political ethics. Next, we will dive right into Shakespeare territory, with a rousing production of his problem play “The Merchant of Venice” which tackles anti-Semitic bigotry, greed, and the role of the courts.
