(URL removed) is based on New York, a global online store to be launched by the end of April with a plan to open offline flagship & shop-in-shop in department stores in firstly Korea, Italy and later maybe in the US.
My primary target customers are firstly Koreans in Korea, keeping in mind professionals in fashion industry, and Asian-Americans in the US as well as in Europe. There are many online fashion stores in the US and Europe, but none of them truly knows how to get into Korean market and exploit it. That’s because the consumer behavior and preference are very little known to retailers outside Korea.
Tons of brands and products are out there but many of them unfortunately are substitutable each other, unless it became star brand. My goal is to select lifestyle brands that I like but relatively little known (purposely or non-purposely), and to work for those brands in order to create market with customized strategy for each brand. I mentioned Korea earlier as the primary market firstly because it’s still untapped market with huge opportunities prior to step into other Asian countries. Of course, I will compete with major players here in the US later.
