Description:
Approximately six months ago DTEP INC. acquired Dynotech Engineering. Dynotech Engineering had been in operation for over nine years in the Fort Wayne Area, under the management of Phil Rickard and had posted some very impressive sales figures since it’s inception. The best year on record is 2007 what sales of $901K. Immediately after closing on the purchase of Dynotech Engineering DTEP moved operations to 2730 Independence Dr, also in Fort Wayne and assumed the operating name of DTE Powertrain.
At the time of purchase the core products of the Dynotech were high performance differential assemblies, modified transmissions, and a proprietary differential/transmission strut assembly, all exclusively for the Chevrolet Corvette market. The original, and current, strategy of DTEP is to utilize the technology and experience that has been applied to the Corvette differential and expand the core product offerings to other North American produced automobiles that can be considered in the same class of the Corvette. It is also our goal to broaden into a more comprehensive automotive specialty supplier providing high performance parts and services which will include chassis dynamometer services, engine modifications, and a wide variety of engine and driveline accessories. A key element of our plan is expansion into the semi-professional and professional motorsports markets which will include stock car racing, drag racing, and road racing.
