Description: We have three content-based websites in various stages of start-up. We are seeking equity funding for each individual project, or for the company as a whole. (URL removed) is the world's first travel guide that allows you to find travel spots based on your interests as well as on location. It is a live website with more than 2,500 travel spots related to more than 5,000 famous people, things, and events. The site has drawn the interest of a major media company interested in a branding partnership. Before that can happen, we need $500k to enhance the site, build content, and launch a marketing campaign, beginning with a round of $50k to enhance the site and develop the mobile app. A second round of $500k may be necessary to achieve profitability. Executive Summary available upon request. (URL removed) (website and mobile app) will allow voters to find every elected official and every candidate pertinent to their street address, a service that surprisingly is not available anywhere. Revenue will be generated from targeted advertising by candidates, political parties, lobbying groups, and general advertisers. Basic programming is complete, with a demo site and a live beta site for one city. Seeking $500k to launch in time to take advantage of the 2012 presidential elections. A second round of $500k may be necessary to achieve profitability. Links to the demo and beta sites, a PowerPoint Presentation, and an Executive Summary are available upon request. (URL removed) has been mentioned on (URL removed), (URL removed), and AOL's WalletPop, and we have even been approached by 20/20 about a possible story. We own the U.S. trademark on the phrase "Hollywood Nepotism." Revenue will be generated from highly targeted ad sales and product sales related to the content of each page, as already displayed on our website. The site has cross-over potential for TV specials (on a channel such as VH-1) and paperback gift books. We're seeking $75K total to build the content, publish a paperback book, and launch a marketing & PR campaign next summer. Executive Summary available upon request. Funding all three websites would result in economies of scale due to the similarities in their business models.
