My husband and I have owned and run a small construction company for 15 years now and my husband would like to relax a little and I would like to help him do that. I would like to purchase some local properties that are either in forclosure or just "for sale" rather cheaply because they need some updating and TLC. I could then purchase these homes, and with my husbands help and knowledge of the construction field, we could fix them up very cheaply and turn them around for a profit and hang on to some of them for rental properties for income while houses waiting to be sold are being fixed up. I know this is an accomplishment that I could acheive because our own home was purchased on land contract for $29,500.00 and took 6 years to pay off and as of August 2007 it was worth $138,500.
