My company, Eight Day Gallery, is looking for $1.1 mil in commercial mortgage financing, with approximately one-half this amount to be used to complete renovation of building (currently 85% complete, with more than $1.6 Mil invested by owner to date). Remainder of proceeds to be used primarily to refinance debt on the property. Building was owned by Charlie Chaplin and operated as a silent movie theatre in the 1920's. The building will be used, once completed, as a corporate event space. The city of Chicago has committed to spend $0.3 Mil on the building due to its importance to the community. A second building, valued at $1.5 Mil is available for cross-collateralization. Eight Day Gallery is located in Chicago. We are mainly interested in commercial mortgage financing with a term of 3 years (however we will entertain offers with a shorter term).
