Description:
Clarke Clean has developed a green, nanotechnology product that improves the performance of glass. We've developed a product line, NOC on Glass, which has many applications. NOC on Glass is an ultra-thin nanotechnology that creates a hydrophobic glass surface. Our non-polymer, thin, extra long lasting formulation is what differentiates us from inferior products in the market place. NOC on Glass does for glass what Teflon did for cookware - create and easier-to-clean surface, which translates to less water consumption, fewer chemical cleaners, fewer man-hours invested in cleaning.
Our Building Glass Maintenance Product (BGM) fits into the Janitorial and Cleaning space. Used on interior glass it has a 2-3 year lifespan. Our non-polymer composition resists soap scum, hard water spotting, mineral deposits. Our hydrophobic surface forces these contaminants to rest on top of the surface rather than allowing them to become embedded in the glass pores. This results in easier cleaning, done without harsh chemicals, or reduced use of harsh chemicals. This also results in less water consumption.
Our Visual Enhancement System (VES) is used in the automotive vertical. This product is TUV Certified. VES creates a hydrophobic surface on automotive glass so that the driver has increased visual acuity. Driver’s response time is improved by 25% (the distance from 3rd base to homeplate at SF AT&T park, home of the 2010 World Champion San Francisco Giants), glare is reduced, and a night-time driving experience is now equal to a daytime driving experience. VES is a long lasting product. Each application should last 6-12 months or 20,000 miles. This non-polymer formula does NOT leave a waxy glare over time and will not leave a build-up.
Our NOC on Solar is used in the solar industry to create a hydrophobic glass surface, which results in an easier to clean surface, the same Teflon effect as BGM. Cleaning Solar Panels is now embraced in Europe and has been substantiated in a study done by Harvard University that we can provide to you. It has been proven that clean solar panels perform better than dirty panels. Our differentiator is that our non-polymer composition has no negative impact on light transmittance. Other polymer-based products will create a hydrophobic surface BUT they will impede light transmittance so the overall effect is a negative one. Cleaning Solar panels is only half of the solution. Treating the panels and then cleaning delivers the highest ROI. Just like cookware treated with Teflon, your panels will get dirty, but they will stay clean, longer, in between cleanings, and when the monitoring system indicates that the panels need to be cleaned, cleaning will be easier.
Clarke Clean is leading the charge in advocating the treating and cleaning of solar panels in the US. This is the easiest way for solar power to payoff.
