I read R Reeves article E-2 the entrepreneur's option Cebu Sun Star May 23 2011 and have not thought about much else. A friend of mine is from Cebu and a Mechanical Engineer in the Middle East, His salary is very low.
A certified High Rise Window Washer in the US using OSHA ANSI and IWCA guidelines has almost 30 times the income (URL removed) methods used in the Middle East and the Philippines could not be used in the United States. Training and equipment cost is very minimal if trained in Cebu and start up cost in the US would be more favorable than the mentioned Hot Dog Cart in the example. On average a worker would make 266875 Pesos a Month and the entrepreneur with 30 workers would make billions. Please note no death has accured using a two line RDS with separate rope grab safety back up. I wish to be the man to train and certify 30 men/woman in the Philippines but will not compromise on safety or Equipment.
