Description:
We are in the final stages of developing an exciting new business: an airsoft mock combat arena and entertainment complex. Airsoft uses realistic looking guns that use either springs, gas, or electric motors to propel 6mm plastic bb's. Using these devices, an airsoft arena provides unique playing fields, such as a recreation of WWII Germany, a village in Vietnam, or a house for room-to-room SWAT style action. Airsoft is superior to its closest relatives, paintball and laser tag in a number of ways. Unlike paintball, the bb's do not break the skin and usually do not even leave a bruise, nor is there a messy, oily residue. This will make the game more appealing to a much wider audience of participants who do not enjoy being smeared in oil or battered and bruised by paintballs. Airsoft is also superior to laser tag in that it is more realistic because there are no sensors which may be concealed in order to cheat and there is a physical consequence to taking fire so players are less prone to become indifferent to being shot. At present, there are no other full time airsoft arenas in Florida, and only a smattering across the entire US. This is an opportunity to reach out not only to amateur players and those who are on private airsoft leagues, but also to law enforcement and military personnel who are looking for a realistic but non-lethal method of training.
