Description:
I am in the funding stages of trying to develop my company called "Time of My Life Productions." It's a small production company aimed at staking a claim in the Texas market, dealing mainly in the development of documentary-like packages for Weddings, Funerals, Corporate Events, and small commercials.
I worked in the news for 13 years and have a fantastic grasp on what it is like to capture and tell some body's story. That's the fantastic thing about this venture: every body's story is different.
As you will see from my business plan, market research shows that the field is wide open when it comes to producing "Funeral and Memory Preservation" documentary-like stories for those grieving. It'd have to be a plan worked out with local funeral homes because funeral directors have more experience, and tact, dealing with those suffering a loss, but if there's one thing I learned while working in the news, it's that people like to both grieve, and memorialize, their loved-ones on camera. They feel like they're giving them tribute. The funeral is such a blur anyway, people often like to go back and watch, when they feel more comfortable dealing with death. It's also a great feature because we can put the service and package on-line, so now those that missed the event can watch when they have a chance.
Like i (URL removed) market is wide open for this opportunity, that will also include your traditional wedding story production as well, but this time told with news-style lit interviews. A documentary of their love story, instead of the same old boring wedding video.
Please look over my business plan. I know that I have a found a niche and the opportunity is ripe.
