My Glass Box grew from my jewelry design hobby. Women would often stop me to ask: "Where did you buy your jewelry?" And, upon finding that I only made it for myself, I became inundated with requests such as "I'll pay you if you'd make me one."
The business grew from that hobby base to where it is now. In the last seven months we have been fulfilling orders for a large nonprofit agency selling through Cintas, a local bookstore (and soon to be its national chain), store placements (each one has come to us so far), shows, and consignments.
We are running right now with only two employees and a number of contract employees, as needed. So far, so good.
