My friend and I recently purchased a craftsman style house to remodel and open a neighbothood bakery & cafe. We are both full times Nurses at Genesis West in Davenport,Ia. The City of Rock Island is excited about this project since there is nothing in the area like this, plus we are located right next to Saukie Gold Coarse. We plan to make homemade bread, soups, specialty sandwiches, bakery, and pasteries. I was born a proud Bohieman in Chicago and remember going the neighborhood bakerys with my Grandma.
