Apples-To-Apples ((URL removed)) is looking for $500k in startup capital so that we can expand our Apples-To-Apples on-line estimate comparison system. The system allows homeowners to finally compare their estimates Apples-To-Apples. No more comparing vague and/or incomplete estimates that don't provide the proper amount of information so that an educated decision can be made on who to hire. The homeowner will receive a line-by-line detailed analysis of up to 3 estimates (more can be added, if necessary). This will enable the homeowner to gain control and organization of the process and not feel so helpless. Individual line items that vary far from each other will be brought to their attention. The system also features project management software that tracks product selections, project decision dates, project scheduling etc.. It's a complete package for the homeowner that adds great value in helping to decide who to hire to work on their home, their most expensive asset. This is a great opportunity, since the idea is in demand, the market is very large and the need is long overdue. It also helps the contractors, since it evens out the playing field and helps eliminate low-balling. This creates a win-win situation for both sides (Contractors and Project Owners). We should be considered for investment because of how unique an idea this is, and because of the need expressed for this type of system from almost every customer who has ever tried getting Apples-To-Apples estimates through any of the currently existing systems of estimation out there. Apples-To-Apples is primarily interested in these funding sources, but will consider all inquiries: -Equity Funding (Venture Capital, Angel, Private Equity, etc.) Once fully funded, we intend to use this capital for these purposes: -Operating/Growth Capital (Payroll, Sales & Marketing, etc).
We provide FREE on line tools to ensure "Apples-To-Apples" home remodeling estimates. We use pre-formatted estimate templates, to ensure that each estimate filled out by your selected contractors, will always be presented to you in the "same exact format". Each line item has specific questions that the contractor will fill out; as well as an amount column, so you can compare both the content based questions and the costs associated with each line item. You're in control of who gets to bid on your projects, with the use of our 100% on line bid request and approval process. Since all of our bid reviews and approvals are done on line, you won't have to make those awkward rejection phone calls, because our system will automatically notify the candidates that did not win the bid, and will also automatically notify the bid winner for you. With the "Decision Schedule", you'll be able to keep track of a list of decisions for the contractor, such as what brand of paint to use, what color etc. With the "Product Selections" page you can keep track of all of the items that have been selected for the project. Finally on the "Payment Information" page, you can enter and keep track of all of the payments you make to your contractor, including payment types, amounts etc. All of this is available on line, so you can update the project from anywhere!
