Something else you should know About me. I have been out of a job since December of 2008. I was surviving off a $1400.00(i am a Marine Veteran) monthly Va disability, which in April of 2009 the VA cut by 50%. Since I can't obtain gainful employment I have decided to move forward full time with my business. There is no going back for me. No other options I must succeed. I have faithfully paid child support until i lost my job. Because of my prolonged unemployment, i have now lost my license and may end up in jail for lack of payment. I have explained my circumstances but it doesn't matter to child support enforcement.
I am not looking for a hand out! I am looking for a mentor first and foremost. Secondly I am looking for funding of no less than 1 million to purchase a portfolio of 4 Apartment buildings and a single Apartment building. All are high rise and all are in revitalization area's of Indianapolis, IN. The reason for my purchase in Indiana. My children live in Indianapolis, Indiana and it is my home town. I will relocate to Indianapolis, Indiana to personally reside in one of the buildings and oversee the management of the others.
My kids need a father who is present not just a wallet. My goal is to throw myself into my company for the betterment of myself and my family. Any funding received will be payed back with interest within 24 to 36 months. If funding does not require repayment, I will take the same amount and give someone the same opportunity afforded me. Without the need of repayment. They will only have to pay it forward. Your funding or the gift portion of your funding will continue to be a blessing for disadvantaged, yet worthy candidates.
I am a worthy candidate. I need a mentor and funding to get back on my feet. I feel that if i cannot obtain a proven and willing mentor along with funding. I may end up in jail or on the streets.

The Downtown Indianapolis Apartment Portfolio is a four property portfolio that consists of 98 units that were built between 1920 and 1930. The portfolio includes Ellis Apartments, Howland Manor Apartments, Pennview Apartments and Helen Louise Apartments. The Seller will respond to offers on individual properties but would prefer to sell the properties as a portfolio.
The properties have been owned longer than 10 years and are located in historical districts making them viable for the Acquisition Rehab Tax Credit Program and the Historical Rehab Tax Credit Program.
Three properties, Howland Manor, Pennview and Helen Louise, are master metered for gas, water and sewer. Gas-fired boilers less than 12 years old and gas hot water heaters are being utilized in these buildings. The Ellis Apartments is utilizing electric baseboard heat. Each building in the portfolio is separately metered for electricity. The roofs were replaced at Helen Louise in 1998, Howland Manor in 1997, Ellis in 1999, and Pennview in 1991
Three properties are within one half mile of each other with the fourth less than six miles away.
