Description:
Rorke's Drift Hotel (Pty) Ltd is set up to build and manage a hotel at the historic crossing of the Buffalo River, which is also beside the site of the famous battle of the defence of the Mission Station by British troops in 1879, which resulted in the highest number of VC awards of any single action. The story is the basis of the film Zulu starring Michael Caine and Stanley Baker, made in 1964 and still shown as an iconic British film and 'the best war film ever'.
