Description: My company is headed in a new direction, in a very innovative way. I conceptualized the framework for Calisota Diversified over 12 years ago. It is in essence, a product development firm, but in substance we do so much more, with so much less. Most product development firms rely on outside clientele to fuel their business, however at Calisota Diversified, we fuel our own growth by being a self contained, idea to market product design and development company, who specializes in the licensing of products and I.P. created by Calisota Diversified. By relying on a collection of Internally owned Intellectual Property consisting of: Trade Secrets. Trademarks, Copyrights, and Patents among others, we are able to fuel our own growth by developing our own body of IP and innovations. Of course we are always open to collaboration and traditional client relationships, but it is not our focus. At Calisota Diversified we brought the first accessory offering from our Music Industry products line to market on 01/01/2010. At our first trade show we won an award and have gained the attention and product devotion from some of the top players in the world. Our product has mass International appeal and already sold in seven countries via our online store. We have received great product reviews and magazine coverage. We have traction and have much to show for our efforts. As the founder, I am the primary developer and run the business. With the help of friends and family, we have bootstrapped our business from the ground up. I invested every penny of my own personal savings from seven years of teaching school to fuel this to a certain level of success and we have achieved that. Now I am looking for an Angel Investor to help me with Operating Capital so that this business can be my 24 hour a day focus. My company is heavily involved in the music industry and I am an expert in many facets of the trade. That is why we chose to launch a product in that industry first. My personal experiences have allowed the product to be successful because I do my due-diligence and I think things out through the steps of development to market. I don't waste people's time with ill developed ideas or whimsy. We have in place all of the necessary components of the management team. I work with others outside the company on design, marketing, sales, customer service, etcetera, and for many of these services or jobs, we do so on an independent contractor basis. The business does not currently have any other full time employees, but we do business with varying contractors in different disciplines to achieve our goals. When we are more profitable, employees will become part of the equation, but for now we can keep our operating expenses very low due to the lack of benefits, worker's comp, and payroll that we do not need to pay. We are looking for funding from 100k to 500k in operating capital to pay back original investors first and foremost, and to then grow the business. Growing the business with an end in mind is how I run things. I am open to selling or licensing individual products and ideas, thus generating multiple income (URL removed) are also open to selling certain trade aspects of the company, or the entire firm as an exit strategy. By the time many of our products are developed, we will be in the music industry as well as automotive, medical, education, apparel, household goods, home improvement, outdoor living, lighting, furniture and other industries. As a Minnesota boy who relocated to California in 1997 and started this company concept while working my career I understand diversity and the need for it in the marketplace, hence the name Calisota Diversified. We are open to working with Angels who are open minded and can see the evidence of our quality of work in our first offering to the retail market.
