Description:
I am the author of The Reverend Doctor, Jawbone Publishing, 2002. The story centers around the wife of a pastor who believes she has the perfect marriage. When he dies prematurely, she is confronted with a devistating discovery. We are in the development stage for making my novel into a full-length motion picture for the theatre. We have a letter of intent from the lead actress and now have a completed screenplay.
We are also about to begin production on a documentary regarding the subject of pastor infidelity, and other men of power who fall, based on my novel. This is to garner investors and create interest and conversation on the subject matter prior to the film release. I'm working on the theme song and also producing a CD with songs from the movie to be released prior to the movie.
Bill Whitacre ("Blair Witch Project"), Universal Studios Orlando, is my entertainment attorney and I'm working with Marsha Reece of Silver Lining Studios, Orlando, on the documentary.
The genre of film that The Reverend Doctor falls under is the same as the highly successful and lucrative Tyler Perry films and will be of a high quality. I have two other screenplays to be completed.
