Description:
I am a composer/play-write with several full scale musical theatre productions at the point of being ready to go into production. I am seeking private investors interested in advancing the arts in the Pacific NW (Seattle/Portland) & pushing them to the Broadway stage.
Currently, my business partner and I are raising money for a new musical retelling of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz based on the book by L. Frank Baum (not the MGM film). With wonderful new music, incredible costumes, and a script that has been approved and blessed by the Baum estate, we will take our theatres by storm... we just need the money for the production.
We currently have the Moore Theater in Seattle held from July 25th, 2012 until September 9th, and then onto the Amereican Theater of Actors (a renowned Off-Broadway house) held from October 17th through January 6th, 2013. Our cast will include Sarah May Shaffer (known as Kasas' Dorothy) and Evan Stone as the Cowardly Lion.
