This institution is founded by Carol Campbell an African American educator and mother of a 4 year-old Mandarin-Chinese speaking son(Chance)and Zhen Li Goldowsky a native Chinese speaking Montessori trained educator with over a decade of experience in Early childhood (URL removed) are both very dedicated and passionate about the direction and future growth of Montessori Chinese Day (URL removed) have done a lot of leg work to establish the school as a legal non-profit entity but we are in dire need of funding. Our short-term modest goal is to obtain funding to acquire a leased space(1000 SQ FT including outside play-yard) in which we already (URL removed)s space limits us to apx.16 children at any one time. Our ideal location would have been to seek an entire small building with at least 4 classrooms,2 business offices,a small gym,music room,art room/performance theater,parents lounge and some land to organize age appropriate sport activities and provide outside play for the children by having tree houses and playgrounds,thus offering a more enriched all around education up to 1st grade level and after school education for older youths who wish to continue learning (URL removed)imately attracting even more families from the metro Tri-state area of all (URL removed)s would be the first Montessori bilingual school in this area.
