PLANetRADIOLOGY will do for radiology facilities what Orbitz has done for commercial travel, providing its member network with the tools they need to internalize profits that have become little more than broker entitlements. The Company will build a national network of member facilities that will enjoy exclusive access to a wide array of online tools that will enable them to cost-effectively expand their business, lower overhead and increase profitability. The availability of features like online, real-time scheduling, electronic invoicing, e-transmission of films and reports, Web-based direct marketing, financial options, second opinion readings and more will create a new transactional model for the industry, benefiting all participants in the radiology referral process.
Planet Radiology is seeking $125K in small business funding in order to create the system and begin with the beginning stages of our healthcare startup. Our headquarters are based in Costa Mesa, California (Orange County). The program has yet to be created, however is ready for design. The idea came over 10 years ago, yet technology could not yet support it, nor was the medical industry ready or technologically savvy.
We are interested in Equity Funding (Venture Capital, Angel, Private Equity, etc.) and the funds will primarily be used for Operations and Growth Capital (Payroll, Sales & Marketing, etc).
