A Taste of Mississippi will be a full service restaurant with a creative niche. We are located in North Carolina so I will explain why its a Taste of Mississippi. We are located in the military friendly city of Fayetteville North Carolina. I myself am a military brat but my family retired here. My bestfriend is from Mississippi. I often traveled with her to her small hometown and fell in love with the culture. It's the home of the blues, record players and down home cooking. The area of Clarksdale Mississippi is where you can stay a night in Ike Turner's old room or sleep in Muddy Waters bed. The scene is very rustic that it brings tourist from all around the world each year to enjoy the Blue grass Festival. Now North Carolinas food is exceptional, our barbecue is hands down the best but add a Taste of Mississippi and we created a masterpiece. Here in the Carolinas we wait for annual state & county fairs to eat a smoked Turkey leg, in Mississippi you can get one from your local gas station daily. We will offer Jumbo stuffed Turkey legs (smoked). A daily buffet offering southern dishes Mississippi po boys & Mississippi mud cakes. As we have renovated a building, as you walk in it's the food yes but the culture is what you will experience. Rythm and blues artifacts and good southern cooking. Mississippi meets North Carolina.
