FriendTones allows users to share (legally), create, and send ring tones to friends via social networks (i.e. Facebook) and our stand-alone website. Though we allow users to create and send ring tones to their friends and own phones for free, we have significant revenue models that no other competitor is currently employing.
1. GoTones: This product allows a user to create a ring tone on the fly using a cellphone as a microphone. That ring tone is then sent to the user's phone, and a friend if the user chooses via speech recognition and FriendTones software.
2. MyTrack Tones: These are ring tones that are copyrighted work created by the rightful owner of the music. When other users want that ring tone, they must pay a fee to FriendTones to cover the royalty expense of selling copy
