The world is changing and alternative forms of medicating for various health issues are becoming ever more popular. However, with marijuana use comes a negative stigma, and that is exactly what we want to change at Maryjane’s Café. We want the world to see that marijuana users are not the stereotypical slackers, stuck on their mom’s couches. We want to bring to light all the diverse illnesses medical marijuana can treat. Educating our community, as well as giving back is our key motivator. We want working professionals, whether it be college students needing a place to relax, study, and indulge in our amenities, or working business professionals needing our space to hold informal meetings, grab a quick bite to eat, or just simply pick up their medication. We want to give them a place they can proudly call their home away from home. Maryjane’s will provide a positive, professional, and relaxing atmosphere to show off how productive our community can really be. Just as Starbucks has become a household name, Maryjane’s hopes to become a well-known and respected establishment within our own community.
