Description:
Omni Artiste' was founded on the principle that all people can benefit from the solutions offered all people if we make ourselves aware of the solutions. In 1987, Joyce Evens started Omni as a Radio show, "Issues" to focus on how the community can get help from society if the issues facing them were voiced. She gave listeners a voice. Many spokespersons, experts and community leaders appeared on the show and offered solutions to address the diversity of communities. Through 1992, Omni began producing Theater with the direction of the co-founder, Dr. Alex C Marshall. He focused on the same issues, just on stage. In 2003, Brian E Taylor was hired as bit performer, whom would write the first screenplay and teleplay for Omni, Foster Care and Sunday Dinner, respectively. Development and production has continued until now, with the completion of Sunday Dinner the TV show, a Dramedy, for the Louisiana market in the Fall 2013. Now is the time to expand and continue speaking the 'voice.'
