The Generation Green Foundation is a 501(c) 3 tax-exempt, not-for-profit company incorporated in Kansas.
The Board of Directors is made up of several high profile business professionals living in and around the Kansas City/Metro area.
The Foundation headquarters is in Overland Park Kansas.
The foundation was organized to serve our communities by solving two growing concerns;
• Increase funding to improve our educational programs in public school systems
• Improve environmental safety and make environmental sustainability a reality.
The SGG foundation will be self funded through the sales of sponsored environmental safe products to consumers in school district communities across the country.
We will begin operations and distribution of products to local stores in January of 2009.
Initially our products will be available in 50 stores around the greater Kansas City metro area.
Our Objectives are as follows:
• To better inform the communtiy on environmentally safer habits and best practices.
• Establish the SGG Foundation’s endorsed product line as the national leader in environmentally safe, biodegradable, green certified cleaners and products.
• Establish SGG Foundation as one of the largest, non-profit, fund raising organizations
• To inspire young people to think about the world, their relation to it, and their ability to influence it in an entirely new way. To equip their communities with the environmentally safer products, competencies, and habits of mind that characterizes a sustainable environmental future.
I recently have conducted a focus study with 2 school superintendents, 4 school principles and 2 PTA Presidents. They all love the concept and idea and want to proceed as soon as we are ready to go. We have all the pieces in place we just need a little start up capital.
