Bar Goggles is a marketing tool provider that provides a fully interactive website and smart phone
application to help our clients reach their customers through use of our website and multiple smart phone
platforms. Our main focus is on the bar and night club scene. We install and maintain a system of web based
cameras, which allow the establishment to stream live full color video onto their customized page on our website.
We not only provide live visual information for the establishment but also the capability to post additional
information such as cover charges, drink specials, current number of patrons, patron ratios, upcoming events,
bands and DJs with a sound bite of their music, etc. Attached to this website will be a smart phone application that
will allow the establishment’s current and potential new customers to see a live video stream and access all of the
information that the establishment wishes to provide, from anywhere in the world.
How it works
The video is sent through our system to a streaming company that tracks the bit rate and
then optimizes it. They then send it directly to our website and onto the establishment’s web page.
From there the video will be streaming constantly during a time window that is determined by the
establishment. The camera or cameras will be mounted and aimed to provide the widest range of
coverage. They will only be mounted in the establishment’s public locations. They will not be mounted
in restrooms, offices, kitchens, and anywhere else that is of no interest to the patrons. Like earlier
described the establishment will be able to control when the video is streaming and when it is not.
Personal page and smart phone application
After everything is up and running, the client can then access their page and post any
information that they choose to. This can include any promotions, events, cover charges, location
information, specials, menus, band schedules, etc. Included will also be and availability to “friend”
the establishment by it’s patrons. All of this and more will be very interactive and user friendly. Also
available is a smart phone “app” that will be downloadable to multiple platforms. This app will allow
anyone in our patron network to access all of the information including the video stream to any of the
clients in our network. It will be interactive and user friendly as well.
Security
After the system is up and working properly the establishment will be able to access their page
of our site with a user name and password from any internet capable system. Our web developer, host
and design team are aware that security of this system is paramount and has assured us that all content
will be heavily guarded and protected at all times. Other than our clients accessing their personal
page, at no time will anyone other than our IT department and any necessary IT related contractors or
providers, be able to access any of the private information related to our system. As this is a service
that is for adults only, we have also covered a disclaimer that will not hold Bar Goggles, our clients or
the patrons liable for any information that reaches someone not of age to receive it. Our legal team
has worked extensively to assure that we, our clients, and their customers will be protected from any
malicious activity that may or may not be related to our service.
