Talenth originally started as Talenth Inc. DBA Beyond Reality in 1996 located in suburban Chicago, Illinois. It began as a hobby store and club / cafe but due to a change in ownership and an untimely passing of one of the principals the company was dissolved in 2001. The last three years of operation Gross Sales averaged $300,000 annually with a 63% EBITO.
I am re establishing Talenth now as an internet site to promote and support hobbyists in all genres and skill levels. This will be a membership driven site. There will be informational content and challenge projects for beginners to expert level, interviews with "hobby gurus", reviews of products and retailers, involvement with activities and events sponsored locally, and inclusion in the largest hobby club / organization in the U.S. Additonally, members will be able to associate with each other nationally through peer to peer postings and trading of hobby wares.
