I am currently working on starting a Charter Boat/Sight Seeing/Sport Fishing/Commercial Fishing business. Many charter companies went out of business after Katrina, and then were just starting to come back until the BP Oil Spill. The market in this area is wide open. BP has been mandated to spend Millions of dollars to attract tourism to the Gulf Coast, and to advertise for the seafood industry as well. I currently live on in Bay St Louis on a Canal with plenty of room for boats on my property. I have the know how, ability, contacts and sales/marketing experience to make this a successful business. I am looking for an investor to help purchase a multi purpose charter boat. One that could be used for sight seeing trips, sport fishing, and when it is not booked for a charter, I could fish commercially in the local waters.
