Description:
We are an emerging non-profit looking for seed money to open our agency. Our 501(c)(3) status is pending. We want to build 25 homes at a purchase price of $60,000 each for poor working immigrant families in the Houston Metro area. We feel that service employees need a place in our communities, in order to keep the local economy moving. With rising gas prices, it is becoming a struggle for the working poor to live in remote areas and commute into the metro area to work. We want to bring them back into the community, by creating affordable housing in our neighborhoods.
