I have been horse crazy since I live on our farm at 5 yrs old and helped with the 150 head of horses we boarded and owned. When I purchased my first horse in 1987 I knew that I would be involved some how in horses for the rest of my life. I started training and showing that year. At that time I wasn’t using the Lord to show me how and I soon found out that without the Lord I wasn’t doing very good.
I ended up with a lot of hurt and not much success.
It was 1992 when I started praying for Guidance from God that my Gift really started to bloom.
Now I pray before each session with either horse or rider so that I am guided by the Lord to teach what needs to be learned by each individual.
I have been training horses for 20 yrs, the first 5 was with out God’s guidance.
With God’s guidance I have been successfully training horses for the past 15 years. In this time I have trained approximately 200 horses with only 3 that I couldn’t train or fix a problem on. They were situations that were out of my control. (usually an owner issue)
I own Purebred Arabians & NSH Pinto, and a few Arabian crosses. One Arabian stallion (who is as gentle as my mares).
The Lord has given me a vision of doing day camps for people that don’t have horses and cant afford to own them, but want (URL removed) camps are open to every one .
One of Tendertouch Ranches Goal is to help families that have emotional hurt & scares (because of Life struggles divorce, abuse, neglect, the world).
I will help them heal through the wonderful ability of the Horse and God while they are learning to ride and enjoy the beautiful horse that God has made. I myself have been through these things and have been healed with the LOVE from God and a warm furry shoulder of a horse. And I just want to share that with others out there that need healing.
God is blessing me with the means to make this happen. I just need the financial help to get going in the right direction.
