B & G's Chuck Wagon is a planned Breakfast and Lunch restaurant in a growing and revitalized industrial area and within blocks of the County Courthouse and offices in the city of Ocala, Fl. Our goal is to purchase an ongiong business that has been around for many years, but that I feel is being poorly managed.
I am looking for funding to purchase an ongoing restaurant business. The current operation taken over just 9 months ago by new management is not growing due to mis-management. They have too many employees and management is not hands on and in the house running things. I and my husband have prepared a business plan that incudes reduction of workforce with us doing more than 50% of labor, which we love. I had my own restaurant for 19 years in Canada and sold at a major profit. We are looking for a loan of $100,000. to purchase the business outright and leave us some working capital, actual purchase price of business is $75,000. It includes new dining room seating, newly redone decor, freshly painted mural walls, upgraded kitchen with many new or rebuilt refridgeration equipment, cook stoves and ovens both conventional and convection. Hours of operation are from 6am to 3pm 7 days a week. We plan on closing for 5 holidays per year. With our business plan implemented we expect to increase growth by at least 30% in the first 60 days (even in a tight economy), with an increase in profits to match plus the curtailing of losses from the current overpayment of wages to too many employees.
