Description:
The Pine Tree/Josephine Mine in Mariposa, California is in escrow, purchased by us for five million dollars ($5,000,000), with a ten thousand dollars ($10,000) deposit. Another fifty thousand ($50,000) is required on August 1, 2008, and fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) in six (6) months. The balance of five million dollars ($5,000,000) is due in one year. It contains over 1.7 billion dollars ($1,700,000,000) of gold.
The mine’s appraisal market value is twenty five million dollars ($25,000,000). Kenneth H. Shonk, our consulting geologist engineer who appraised it, is familiar with almost every mine in North America, and is a top ranking consultant, and a qualified provider of the certificate of value. In addition, the purchase includes 3200 acres of deeded ranch land. The land is appraised at $2200/acre giving a value of seven million dollars ($7,000,000) just for the surface ranch land.
We have funded our due diligence to date, but are seeking three hundred fifty thousand dollars ($350,000) additional to exercise the option and continue to prepare the mine for opening it. We will return the three hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($350,000) before the end of this year plus interest at ten percent (10%). The borrowed funds will be used to pay the August 1, 2008 option payment of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000), and to continue with the mining due diligence.
In return for the $350,000 loan, we will give three and a half percent (3.5%) of the shares of GMEV. That is the company holding the Operating Agreement for all our mining. Our current mines contain over six billion dollars ($6,000,000,000) worth of metal by appraisal.
The mining agreement with GMEV calls for a profit of thirty percent (30%) of all the operating costs of extracting the gold and copper on all the mines. Currently mining is costing about $300 per ounce of gold or pound of copper to extract it. This is estimated (after the start up first year) to bring in to GMEV an annual revenue of over twenty million dollars ($20,000,000).
As security, we will provide lender the title to the tailings pile on the gold property. It is on the surface, ready to be processed to extract the gold. Our engineer’s report states that it contains an estimated 35,000 ounces of gold, a value at current prices of about thirty million dollars ($30,000,000). Production cost is estimated at $300/ounce, or about one million dollars ($1,000,000). This assignment will be placed in escrow, to be released when the three hundred fifty thousand dollars ($350,000) plus interest is repaid.
My partner also owns a copper mine free and clear near Globe, AZ, that was just appraised as containing $4.2 billion worth of copper. He cannot now borrow on it, since it is already committed for major funding expected by mid-October. His funding will provide the monies to obtain clear title to the gold mine, fund the first seventeen million dollars ($17,000,000) for the pilot plant, and repay this borrowing requested. We can provide all of the documentation on the above upon request.
Sincerely,
Benjamin Wheatley
