Arx Fund Services LLC

Location: Chicago
Industry: Finance
Year Founded: 2009

Description: Arx Fund Services was built to capitalize on the exponential rise in traders' demand for ultra-fast time to market at the global exchanges. We leverage gold-standard technology to provide fully-integrated front-, middle-, and back-office solutions to institutional fund managers. As a bona fide fund administrator we differentiate ourselves from our competitors by providing direct user access to our best-of-breed technology platforms. This unique offering gives our clients the choice between either outsourcing their operational needs to us or directly licensing our technology platforms on a per-user basis. The business model was built to meet and exceed unforeseeable client demands. Our mission is to let fund managers focus on their strength (portfolio management); rather than dealing with their inefficiencies. Our approach is to put the horse before the carriage in assessing client workflows so we can rapidly deploy the solution. Our philosophy is to take pride in the results of our work so that we earn & maintain our clients respect throughout the life of the relationship. Arx's technology seamlessly integrates multiple platforms, thus streamlining entire operations into a unified, straight-through-process (STP). Client data is stored at dual remote hosted environments regardless of whether they selected a turn-key or custom-tailored solution. Packages include such features as: • Front-office: centralized trade blotter, pre-trade modeling, real-time P&L reports, direct price feeds • Middle-office: automated trade allocation, counterparty confirmations, reconciliation, portfolio analytics • Back-office: fund accounting, investor & performance reporting, financial statements, NAV calculations • Reporting: tailor-made, web-based reports created with real-time positions and price data Founded in February 2009, Arx achieved its' primary 2009 objectives to build long-term relationship capital and align ourselves with best-of-breed software vendors. We kicked off 2010 with a organizational restructuring so as to improve our ability to capture a growing list of large insitutional client prospects. We spent the better part of 2008 conducting due diligence on the competitive landscape of the Futures industry, our primary area of expertise. We solicited feedback from as many successful people in our industry as we could find and recieved not a single negative response about the value proposition of our business model. It was clear that we had the right 'mouse trap' so our efforts shifted to laying the bricks and mortar of a sustainable business. This patient approach is well-received by both clients and affiliates as evidenced by our sales pipeline now exceeding $2 billion in AUM. The restructuring created an immediate need for short-term funding that will be primarily used to meet licensing fees from our technology vendors. We would like to meet our working capital requirements by receiving capital from either a passive Equity investor (Venture Capital, Angel, Private Equity, etc.) or via Debt financing. The funds will be primarily used for Operating/Growth Capital (Payroll, Sales & Marketing, Payables, etc). Please let us know if you are interested in capitalizing on this investment opportunity.
