ViaTechMD has invented, patented (globally), and developed a device-based treatment for a wide range of conditions known to contribute to preterm birth (PTB). PTB is a growing human healthcare crisis and the leading cause of infant death and morbidity within the first month of life. 1 in every 10 pregnancies result in PB and EACH DAY nearly 3000 babies die from consequences of PTB. Our Cervical Stabilization Device (CSD) has been developed to a commercial ready product by our collaboration with Freudenberg Medical MIS and has been successfully tested in human fitments studies. We have filed our second pre-submission documents and are in negotiations with the FDA toward approval of our highly efficient clinical trial design and eventual market allowance. The market for our device is very large and we have raised $3.5MM (friends, family and Angels) and are seeking $3.3MM. Our operations are extraordinary capital efficient and we expect to launch or exercise an exit strategy in 2020.
