Our low-temperature, dehydration process produces cooking wines with all the flavor, aroma and color of real wine, but with a long shelf life and no alcohol. The product is a beautiful and flavorful powder that offers a convenient and economical way to cook with wine.
The Dry Gourmet has developed 2 cooking wines, a red wine and a white wine (both made from Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon grapes). Our red wine has been tested by food bloggers, cooking enthusiasts and professional chefs. The results have been very positive. Our next steps are to procure enough wine to process retail quantities, establish our web-based retail channels, ship 5000 units and parlay our $10/unit margin into larger scale production and more diverse retail channels.
