My husband & I are hoping to build a luxury resort-like log lodge in Gustavus/Glacier Bay, Alaska. We have a business plan that highlights our business goals and financial needs, as well as general business and operational information. The lodge will consist of 6-10 guest suites, a great room with a lounge and fireplace, a small restaurant, on-site massage & spa services and next door access to a golf course. We have contacted several log home companies in British Columbia and Washington state and have determined that the cost to build this lodge will be near $700,000.
